Colin Ellis

Director

Specialising in Corporate Finance matters from fundraising to listing companies on various Markets and companies regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, Colin has developed a niche for himself and Onyx Capital Partners.

With an international outlook on the financial world and personal contacts throughout the globe, he understands the demands of modern business in an international market. Recent collaborations have seen Colin working with large Chinese corporates on the listing of Chinese companies in various markets across the world.

Out of work you will find Colin in his own world of Water or Wine, through his scuba diving and wine collection.

Robert Ellis

Director

A qualified ACCA accountant, Robert has a range of experience in Corporate Finance and related advisory services. His knowledge of the Financial Conduct Authority as well as his expertise on tax, accounting, audit and corporate finance services place him in a unique advisory position. Robert has worked with a variety of clients and companies, big and small, offering skills and expertise gained through productive and successful years in the finance industry. Robert has worked and continues to work with Colin on the successful listing of Chinese companies across a variety of markets. Utilising his knowledge of large corporations and international financial standards, Robert is able to guide corporates through a variety of financial processes.

Robert enjoys rugby, running, surfing and a good game of golf.

Michelle Amyot

Michelle is an executive of Onyx Worldwide Holdings and co-founder of Onyx Ventures, including Onyx Resources and Onyx Capital Partners. She sits on a number of the Group’s subsidiary boards. Michelle has over 25 years of legal, merchant and investment banking, advisory, and venture capital experience, predominantly in sub-Saharan African Markets. Her expertise lies in corporate finance, private equity, corporate advisory services and general merchant banking activities. Her experience in these fields was built over a period of time with such institutions as Imara Corporate Finance Zimbabwe(Private) Limited (formerly Robert Fleming), the Merchant Banking Division of Barclays Bank of Zimbabwe Limited (Barclays Capital), Merchant Bank of Central Africa Limited, BDO Spencer Steward, and the Hawkwood Group, amongst others. Michelle holds a BA LLB (Honours) Degree from Rhodes University and was admitted in 1991 as a Legal Practitioner under the auspices of The Law Society of Zimbabwe. She qualified as a Legal Practitioner at Wintertons, Harare.

Timothy Coles

Timothy is an experienced ACCA accountant with a particular knowledge of Corporate Finance advice, strategy development and implementation. His years of experience in the finance industry, working with a range of corporate entities, have equipped him with a wide variety of financial skills, resources and connections. Timothy has extensive knowledge of FCA regulated companies and specialises in comprehensive company valuations.

Timothy enjoys rugby, squash and explorations of the Thames and beyond on the family canal boat.
